Bettles Park - Raymond Terrace

Last modified: May 14, 2008 - 1:22 PM

Bettles Park is a popular "Driver Reviver" stop on Adelaide Street just after the roundabout at the Raymond Terrace turn off on the Pacific Highway.

The park is easily identifed with the structure of a 'sabre jet' in the middle of the park.

Facilities

  • Public Amenities including disabled toilets
  • Sheltered Barbeque & Picnic Facilities
  • Play Equipment
  • Cycle Way & Footpath
  • Information Map Stand
  • The historic Sketchley Cottage and Pioneer Musuem is just across from the park. The cottage was built in 1850 by ex-convict William Sketchley and is an example of an early colonial pit-sawn split-slab farmhouse.
