Tomaree Aquatic Centre

The Tomaree Aquatic Centre is located by travelling east along Salamander Way just past the Salamander Bay Shopping Centre.

Turn left into Leisure Drive just before the Nelson Bay Road Roundabout.

Facilities:

• Outdoor heated 8 lane 50 metre pool Outdoor heated leisure pool
• Covered heated toddler Pool
• Waterslide
• Kiosk area
• Change room facilities with hot showers
• Picnic area with shade shelters & barbeques

Temperature

The pools are heated to 27 degrees (Please note: temperatures can vary during adverse weather).

• Personal lessons
• Aqua fitness classes

Fees and Charges

• Casual Entry - $3.80
• Multi Visit Pass - $64.50 (20 visits - single)
• School Groups - $2.20 (Applies only when participating in school programs)
• Waterslide - $3.50 (7 rides)

Opening hours

Tomaree Aquatic Centre is open every day through the year except for Christmas Day.

Summer Hours (October to April)
Monday - Friday 6.00am - 6.00pm
Weekends/Public Holidays 8.30am - 6.00pm

Winter Hours (May to September)
Monday - Friday 6.00am - 5.00pm
Weekends/Public Holidays 9.00am - 5.00pm

Winter Closure:  The centre closes for essential winter maintenance for two weeks a year. The closure generally takes place during the month of July.
