Anna Bay Lawn Cemetery

Last modified: May 13, 2008 - 10:50 AM

Located on the right on the main road to Nelson Bay just after the Fenningham Island turn off, this is the only lawn cemetery located in Port Stephens.

The front of the cemetery is the older part and is divided into the following sections.

  • Section 1 - Presbyterian
  • Section 2 - Non-Denomination
  • Section 3 - Catholic
  • Section 5 - Methodist
  • Section 6 - Anglican

The rear of the cemetery is the newer part of the cemetery.

  • Section 7 - Non-Denomination
  • Section 8 - Non-Denomination
  • Section 9 - Non-Denomination

These sections contain burial plots with concrete beams for the placement of headstones.

Download the attached map below to view the cemetery layout.

  • Sections 1, 7 and 8 are available only for existing reservations
  • Reservations and burial plots for immediate use are available in Section 9 and Section 10

Anna Bay Lawn Cemetery features recumbent desk type headstones on the graves. To ensure the look of the lawn cemetery remains consistent, trees, pot plants and fences are not allowed on or near graves.

If you would like more information about the cemetery, contact us or use the online services and make a request.
