Keeping of Animals on Private Property

Local Orders Policy under Section 124(18) of the Local Government Act 1993
The attached guidelines are provided as a standard from which responsible ownership of animals may be measured.
The objective of this policy (outlined in Table 1 of the attached document) provides persons wishing to keep animals, the standards to to ensure that no nuisance should arise from the keeping of those animals.
