Booking of Council's Parks and ReservesCouncil's Parks and Reserves are available for use by the general public and community groups. Clubs, sporting and church groups often apply for seasonal bookings or 'one-off' events. Bookings for parks can be requested for weddings, social or family functions and in some cases a fee applies. To ensure your 'get together' goes according to plan, please let Council know if you are proposing to organise a Private Function in Council's parks and gardens by submitting an application form (see link below). Unfortunately, Council is unable to take tenative bookings over the phone. (A private function is a gathering that the general public is excluded from partaking in. This could be arranged by, a group, individual or a company e.g. family reunion, a corporate party, wedding etc) These events include picnics, barbecues and other similar social gatherings. Each application is considered individually, and is dependent on aspects such as the size, nature and location of the proposed event or activity. Council reserves the right to request that any organiser of any event or activity provide public liability insurance prior to approval. Terms & Conditions
